Terms & Conditions
Last updated 18 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Afghan Sikh TV website, broadcasts and membership. By using the site or creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Afghan Sikh TV is a community broadcast service carrying live darshan, kirtan and programming from the historical gurdwaras to the global sangat. References to we, us and the channel mean Afghan Sikh TV and its operating team.
2. Your account
You may browse most of the site without an account. Creating an account is free and lets you follow programmes and apply for Gold Membership.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you believe someone else has used it.
3. Gold Membership
Gold Membership gives access to members' programmes, archives and premium live streams. Membership runs monthly and you can cancel at any time, which takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Free daily darshan and kirtan streams will always remain free. Membership never gates the core seva of the channel.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not restream, record, redistribute or publicly screen our broadcasts without written permission.
- Do not attempt to bypass the membership paywall or share account credentials.
- Do not scrape, harvest or bulk download content, data or images from the site.
- Do not use the site in any way that is unlawful, or that disrupts the service for others.
5. Content and ownership
The channel's original broadcasts, programmes, articles, photography and branding are protected by copyright and remain the property of Afghan Sikh TV or its licensors.
Gurbani and the sacred traditions broadcast on this channel belong to no one. Our copyright covers only our recordings and productions, never the shabad itself.
6. Service availability
Live streams depend on connectivity at the shrines and on third party infrastructure. We work to keep broadcasts continuous but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and interruptions do not give rise to refunds except where the law requires.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, the channel is not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time, and will flag significant changes on the site. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
